Hat Redux

I love the smell of merino in the morning.
This is the same hat as the yellow/burgundy one from previous posts, done in handspun merino. It's from roving I got from Winderwood Farms in NY. They have some gorgeous colourways and some great fibres.

Here's Spike riding the shed monkey. He'll ride his human for hours. Strange but cute. The shed is done but for a door on hinges. I hope to move the gardening stuff out there next weekend and start planning out the stash storage. I can't wait to have a semi-organized stash. Might put a chair out in the middle of the room so I can just sit there and dream up projects. Ahhh...

Patchy used to hang out on my shoulder like that when she was a kitten. Can't wait to see the stash storage!!!

And you think that your spindles do the "nasty". Wait until you get all your yarn and fiber out of it's current storage places and all in one location.....I think you'll need the chair just to sit and wonder....where did I get that merino from, or woohoo I thought this was lost and now what am I going to do with it. Also you'll be able to easily see how many times you may have bought the same yarn but at different times..... Oh the stories that this fiber will tell.

Oh! I love that hat! The gold/red version is nice but I love the blue! What pattern is that from?

Thanks again for the hat!!! Would you like a painting? I'm an amateur, and I work in small dimensions, but my stuff isn't too bad.

Hi Sharon,
Blogger wouldn't let me access your blog, so please send it to me in an email. And yes! I'd love a piece of your work. Thanks!
